The Grit Athletics app is a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Grit Athletics and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform website visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

1.1 When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you register on our mobile app "Grit", use our app or enter information on our site.

The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

1.2 What information do we collect?

When you sign up in our app you agree to store in our databases the following data: username, email, password, workout history and items marked as favourites. Also we collect anonymous usage information that includes, number of users and sessions, session duration, operating systems, device models, geography, first launches, app opens, app updates, in-app purchases, gender, interests... (See full events and user properties lists).

1.3 How do we use your information?

This data is is used to restore your information in case you change your device, for example. Also we may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

1.4 How can you be fogotten and erase your account?

At any time, you can erase all your data and your account by going to "Settings/Delete my account" in the mobile app. Also, you can get a digital copy of your data or request to remove your account by writing us an email to support@gritworkouts.com.

2. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

How do we protect your information?

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

However, we are not responsible for any accidental loss of information or unauthorized access to our databases. We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information. In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices, if a data breach occur, we will notify you via email as soon as posible.

3. Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. We don´t implement a way to refuse this cookies by default. So by using the app, you let us to use this cookies.

4. Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

4.1 Firebase

The Grit Athletics platform uses Firebase tools provided by Firebase, a Google company. We use the information we get from Firebase tools to administer, develop and improve the services and the application. Firebase uses ‘cookies’. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Firebase about your use of the App is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (available at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/). You may learn more about how Google collects and processes data specifically in connection with Firebase at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. By default multiple Firebase Kits are activated in Grit Athletics. You can not prevent "Firebase Analytics" and "Firebase Performance Monitoring" from sending analytics data, so by using the app "Grit", you agree to send theese data.
